The room is new and very clean, and fits well with a family of 5. Great location, within walking distance to Kyoto and Gojo stations. It has all the necessary amenities including a washing machine.

It was great to have an apartment-type accommodation in Kyoto. My family and I stayed for several day and we switched from eating out to buying food to make in the room. The facility was clean and it was located in a safe and nice area that is about 15 minutes walk from Kyoto Station or a quick bus ride from the main train station. We were able to take several day trips to Osaka, Uji and Nara—making this place out home base.

The location was excellent, just ten minutes walk from Kyoto Station, with lots of convenience stores and restaurants around but, still quiet during night. The appartment had enough room for us five (with a temporary bed) and our suitcases, even if we had to sacrifice some seating space. The bathroom/shower and lavatory were also big enough The appartment had everything we needed in terms of appliances and commodities. We appreciated especially having the washing machine, as we stayed for several days. We also had the opportunity to leave our luggage safely in the store room the day we checked out and to pick it up laterr during the day.

The main advantage of the hotel is the young gentelman at the reception desk, that speaks good English and is very friendly - it was the first person in Japan that I could ask some of the questions that I had about japanese every day life. The hotel overall met my needs, however it looks bigger and more funky on photos than it is in reality. The room was equipped with ironing set and some cookware, that we used.

I like that within branches of Resi Stay, this one had front desks available daily from 3-10pm and luggage storage available in the hotel. Staffs were friendly, helpful and responsive. Even though there was no one at the front desk, they were actually just a phone call away. The room was spacious for a family of five with two rooms and the sofa can open up to become a bed. It was also cute, neat and clean. Lots of amenities available and the best was definitely the washing machine and we used the drying mode in the bathroom to dry the clothes. There were also refrigerator and oven which was convenient for breakfast/supper. There were instructions and also rules printed out in a book in every room, so please read carefully.

The accommodations here suited us well. Like most places in Japan, the rooms are smaller, but it had everything we needed. We especially appreciated having a washing machine in our room. There was also a unique bathroom clothes drying heating/fan function that allowed you to hang your clothes to dry in the shower area of your bathroom. This was all very helpful as we visited in the summer and needed to wash our clothes more often. While it was a 15 minute walk from Kyoto Station, there were some restaurants and cafes nearby. We enjoyed our stay and how affordable it was.

Thanks to the instruction at Resi Stay, we were able to walk from Kyoto station to the receiption desk and the receiptionist lady was very nice and helpful. She helped us to check in, kept our luggage and booked a shuttle bus to the hotel for us. It turned out if we walked it may take about 15-20 minutes to the hotel, but the ride was useful especially we didn't have to drag our luggage under the summer heat in Kyoto. It was raining when we arrived, they also offered us free umbrellas, very useful. We requested two rooms closed by and got one on the 3rd one on the 4th, weren't too closed but not too far. The rooms were modern and clean. We liked the bath salt and the body towel. The neighbourhood was very quiet, clean and safe. Closed to many shrines and temples. Walking to Kyoto station would take about 20 minutes. Convenient store was just around the corner.

The location was perfect due to the closeness to Kyoto Station, access to all transportation methods for travel around Kyoto and outside of Kyoto, it was a short 10-15 mins walk, walkable with large luggage. The area around the location are residential, away from the noisy main streets, so it is very quiet at night, very good for light sleeper. The apartment is exactly as expected, small but got everything you need. The best part is the included washer, and dryer function in the bathroom, to be able to do laundry without waiting like at a normal hotel. Laundry detergents are provided and information on usage are provided in the information booklet in the room.

Using the Japanese bathroom dryer was a experience. Great to see how Japanese compact everything into a small apartment to get you everything you need. It is also close to the Kyoto Station, Gion District, Nijo Castle, also udon noddle spot across the street from the corner of the hotel, and other Kyoto attraction/tourist spot is very close by too.

We had booked two rooms and each room had a kitchenette & laundry facilities. Internet available as well as complimentary Netflix. Location was close enough to JR Kyoto / Shin-Kyoto stations but far away that it felt like you were further away from the main roads. Buses are at nearly every corner so accessing the rest of Kyoto was easy. Room was larger compared to other spaces (we stayed in a Hello Kitty room) & the other room was standard size but if you factor in the space for the kitchenette & laundry & small courtyard, it was bigger than other accommodations around Japan. Staff were helpful when we needed them. We forwarded our luggage and when we arrived, we were missing one piece, they were able to locate within 2 hours. When our wifi connection kept dropping out for a couple of days, they came and fixed it for us and did some problem solving as well. We would stay there again if we come back to Kyoto in the future.
